Magna Energy Storage a.s. (MES) supplies energy storage systems built on the HE3DA® battery technology, which it uses under licence. This technology has now gained a further level of protection at the European level.
The European Patent Office (EPO) has registered a European patent with unitary effect, No. EP4552170 (proprietor: HE3DA s.r.o.). The patent protects the nano-ceramic separator, a key safety component of HE3DA® cells, uniformly across 18 member states of the EU.
For MES, this means an even stronger legal foundation for its products: protection of the core technical solution is secured by a single patent effective in 18 EU states, so the unique safety properties of our batteries are protected across Europe. This strengthened intellectual property protection is also an important signal of stability for our customers and investors, and it creates a solid basis for the further development of MES solutions in the European market.
