Magna Energy Storage (MES) is the exclusive manufacturer of batteries based on HE3DA® technology and focuses on applications where conventional lithium-ion batteries reach their limits. MES concentrates on special applications that require absolute reliability, operation in extreme conditions, and zero tolerance for failure.
MES battery solutions are designed for environments with extreme temperatures, high mechanical stress, and limited cooling or complex BMS capabilities. Thanks to the inherent safety and robust design of HE3DA® technology, MES products are particularly suitable for use in critical infrastructure, the defense industry, the maritime sector, arctic bases, and island energy systems.
A key advantage of MES is its complete technological and manufacturing sovereignty. The intellectual property of HE3DA® technology is fully integrated, and battery cell production takes place exclusively in the European Union, without geopolitical risks or hidden dependencies. In addition, the design of the batteries allows for simple and cost-effective recycling, which strengthens long-term availability, security of supply, and strategic independence for MES customers.

HE3DA® technology
HE3DA® technology represents an advanced solution in the field of lithium-ion batteries designed for demanding applications where safety, long service life, and operational reliability are key. The basic principle is a spatial (3D) electrode architecture combined with a ceramic separator, which significantly increases the thermal and mechanical resistance of the cells and contributes significantly to their operational safety. The technology is characterized by high thermal stability, minimal risk of thermal runaway, and the ability to operate safely even under demanding conditions.
Currently manufactured battery cells are optimized primarily for stationary battery storage, backup power sources, critical infrastructure, and the maritime industry. These are segments where robustness, long service life, and safety take priority over low weight. However, thanks to its design and safety features, HE3DA® technology itself is highly versatile and offers potential for use in a wide range of other industrial and technological applications.
