

HE3DA batteries for the Arctic: a real-world resilience test
The Czech Arctic research station Josef Svoboda on Spitsbergen — in operation since 2014 — has been using HE3DA batteries as a backup power source for four years now. The deployment of our technology in such extreme conditions confirms that HE3DA batteries are ready for environments beyond the Arctic Circle, with the ability to operate at temperatures as low as –40°C.
