HE3DA® technology
 

HE3DA® technology represents an advanced solution in the field of lithium-ion batteries designed for demanding applications where safety, long service life, and operational reliability are key. The basic principle is a spatial (3D) electrode architecture combined with a ceramic separator, which significantly increases the thermal and mechanical resistance of the cells and contributes significantly to their operational safety. The technology is characterized by high thermal stability, minimal risk of thermal runaway, and the ability to operate safely even under demanding conditions.

Currently manufactured battery cells are optimized primarily for stationary battery storage, backup power sources, critical infrastructure, and the maritime industry. These are segments where robustness, long service life, and safety take priority over low weight. However, thanks to its design and safety features, HE3DA® technology itself is highly versatile and offers potential for use in a wide range of other industrial and technological applications.
